The ship was sailing quickly, with a strong wind behind it. It was night. The sky was black, with no stars to be seen. Stormclouds were above them, and although it was not yet raining, there was a high chance it would. The sea was green in color, although a lamp was necessary to actually see it. The only thing near them on that sea was an island ahead of them. It was a small, minor island in the north-west sea which they had been sent to attack. The whole landmass was a hill; low at one point and rose up to a peak on the other side. The lower of the two sides was the nearest to them; they would have to enter that way. A military fort was stationed at the bottom of the hill, with a village at the top. There was one ship docked on the small harbor, a Royal Battleship. They could not see the island, and neither could the island see them; they had studied their target before the attack.
The Darknut captain was dressed in his black plate armor with golden designs on it. His ship was painted the same way, and he had had black sails installed. This was their first assignment in a long time. He would not fail his Master. His lower ranking darknuts slowly moved about on the deck, making the final preparations necessary. A soft clank of their metal could be heard on deck, but no farther than that was it audible. On board, also, were several Bokoblin scouts and warriors as well as a few Wizrobes. Some darknuts chose to fight without the restriction of their very hindering armor; they would wield katana. The plan was simple; they would hit all three points of the island at once. The few wizrobes would hover up to the peak of the island and light something, anything on fire to create a panic. At the same time the ship would launch many longboats of soldiers onto the shore under the cover of the dark. To locate the enemy ship, they would have a boat of Bokoblins approach very close and light anything they could on fire as well. While the fire was not expected to destroy the ship, they would commence bombardment immediately. The warriors on the shore would begin to assault the fortress in the dark, with their allied ship also attacking it from the cover of the night.
All was going as planned. Within a few hours they would reach the island. It would still be dark, and, if all went well, the island would be conquered in an hour or less from the time of their arrival.

The only sound was the soft noise of the ripples that the ship made in the water as it glided in the pitch black abyss of night. No sound was heard on board the vessel as the crew silently took their places. The time had come, and they were preparing for the assault. The captain slowly paced back and forth, running the plan through his mind a few more times. They knew the island was less than a mile in front of them, although there was no way to tell by simply looking. The sails had been raised, and Moblins beneath the deck were quietly rowing with their large oars.
The Captain stopped pacing. He turned to examine his crew. The initial group consisted of nine of his best Wizrobes. They knew their task; as did the entire assault force. The second group was made up of five longboats full of soldiers. In each boat would be eight darknuts, one moblin, and one wizrobe. In the third group were two longboats with twelve bokoblins each. He had personally selected the warriors for this mission. The best, the most intelligent, the most fearless, the most merciless; all had been chosen. This assault could not and would not fail: he had been sent to demonstrate Phantom Ganon's power, and that is exactly what he would do.
They lowered the boats into the water as quietly as they had prepared everything else. Not a sound would be heard from the shore before it was too late. The nine Wizrobes hovered a few feet above the deck, waiting for the command to wreak havoc on the village above. As they lowered boats into the water the minions filled them; in a few minutes all was ready. The order was indeed given, and the servants of darkness descended upon the lonely island. The wizards floated up, up to the peak of the large hill. The bokoblins set their course for the harbor area, hoping to quickly find the ship. The rest of the boats began rowing towards the fortress on the shore. Before long the entire island would be alerted to their presence, although it would be far too late to defend themselves or even call for help.

Dark, Dentor sat in his sailboat in the middle of the sea, eating his late dinner. Taking a bite of his bread, suddenly a strong wind came. Den stopped eating and manned his little boat. He got up and stirred toward the direction of the wind. Was he heading to another situation where he was needed?
"I will go where I am needed, as I promised." said Dentor as a island got into his view. Even though dark his eyes ajusted. He could see small dots of light from the island. Everything was quiet, very quiet.

The wizrobes slowly glided through the air, completely undetected by the inhabitants of the island. Their bold colored garments, which usually stood out, could not even be seen in the darkness. Their robes hung beneath them, with no solid ground to rest upon. The were able to fly in such a manner for quite some time; they would be there shortly. The town was completely asleep. If there was any form of a watchman in this village, he was most likely asleep as well.
As their flight came to an end they felt the reassurance of solid ground beneath their feet. It was a nice feeling, although they were completely confident in their abilities. Now, to the task. The were like wraiths as the seemingly glided though the pitch black town, searching for a suitable target. After passing up several houses, houses, they came to an inn which had a large stable full of hay. It would work quite nicely; they surrounded it and began to call upon their magic abilities. The entire structure burst into flames, beginning to engulf nearby structures.
The rest was up to their comrades. They would continue to create chaos in the town while their allies began the assault. They could already see the enemy ship; the bokoblins had been quick indeed to light a part of it on fire. Their ship began bombarding it, while the royal battleship crew could do nothing but gaze helplessly out into the darkness, wondering from where these cannonballs came. In a matter of moments the main attack force would reach the shore.

The royal ship slowly filled with water as the large gaps in its hull began to be filled. It was chaos on deck; the crew scurried about, frightened for their lives: fire was above deck, water below. They scrambled for the few lifeboats that were not on fire and started to rush into them. What was usually a disciplined crew was now a mob of fleeing, scared men; all of a sudden the town and their ship had burst into flames, and then the canon fire had started. They had had no warning, just the first spark on top of the mountain.
The bokoblins laughed as they saw the fruits of their labor. The entire ship was in confusion; there would be no survivors, for who survived the water and fire would not survive them. They were at the ready with their swords and bows, on the lookout for any "swimmer's".
The main assault force had also signaled with fire, the captain's preferred method. Flames illuminated the target as well as terrified it; such an efficient tool. Their target was the large, armored fortress on the shore, which they had piled logs in front of and began to light them on fire when they had finally been spotted. However, it was too late, and the bombardment had begun. Large holes were blasted out of the side of the seemingly impenetrable fort, and the servants of Ganon swarmed inside once there was one low enough to the ground. There the final battle began to take place, the royal soldiers in their armor, bows and blades at the ready, against their dark counterparts which flooded into the building.

Dentor saw fire was everywhere when he approached the island. It was a pirate attack. He quickly got out of his sail boat and on to the beach. He had his sword and out ready for a fight and his bow on his back. The minons of Ganon had entered the fortress attacking the people inside. Den rushed to get there in time to before anyone would get hurt. Many were still outside waiting there turn to entered and torture the people inside. He got his bow and fired several shot at the crowd of the darknuts killing four of them.
The enemy turned and looked at him. He fired more shots at them and then drew out his sword again ready for them to attack.

The darknuts turned they heard the clank of an object colliding with their massive armor. Four of them had not been so lucky, and had been struck in one of their few weak points, falling to the ground immobilized. Most of the assault force headed farther into the fort while a few stayed behind to deal with this new threat. They examined the 'boy' who seemed to think he was much tougher than he appeared to them. However, they would soon know whether or not he was worth their time.
The four masses approached, clad in their large silver armor with small insignias and other unrecognizable symbols. They drew their two handed swords, which they were able to wield with a single arm. Although they were large, they were by no means slow in their swordplay, as some would think to be the natural consequence of their size. One stood his ground, while the other three began to encircle him. Raising the swords in front of themselves in a ready position, they awaited his first move.

Den was now surrounded by four Darknuts, waiting for his attack, He carefully watched them. He raised his sword and locked it with a Darknut's. A darknut attack behind him as he went down striking his alley instead of Den. Dentor got up landing a blow at the Darknut. Two down, two to go. The two Darknuts attacked at him both at the same time. Den defended himself, taking every blow one after the other.
Dentor then jumped back and then leaped at the Darknuts whiched surprised them thinking he was retreating, knocking the unconcoius on the floor. Den knew more would come so he hid in the shadows waiting.

A shadow of a person appeared. The shadow morphed into a person that was wearing black garbs holding a sword at his side with a side bag. He had a ring on. Shadow looked around at the darknuts unconcious on the floor. "Pathetic weaklings" he said. He saw something or someone run into the shadows around the area.
If anyone is out there reveal yourself... now!!!! he screamed. He turned and kicked a darknut in which it started to get up to ram him but in a flash his sword went for its neck. "Dont... even think about it.." he said as the darknut jumped up and scurried away.

Dentor heard a voice as he ran in the shadows. He stopped and turned around in the dark. He didn't like the tone the man gave him. Nevertheless he showed himself, not afraid of this man or anyone for that matter. Den's green tunic was a lot darker because of the night, his sword in his left hand, and his bow on his back. Den stared at the man in the eyes.

The fort was completely captured. The darknuts had swiftly invaded and taken over command of the fort from the Hylians. The ship in the bay had been destroyed as well as the town. News would reach the capital in the morning, revealing that a previously hidden threat had completely wiped out a military town in one night. The commanding darknut was pleased; he had returned to the ship with his guards as his men cleaned up on the shore. They scanned everywhere, looking for survivors.
Two darknuts had followed after Dentor and now were searching for him. When the other man appeared, they stayed in the cover of darkness and smiled to themselves when he had called their comrades weaklings. While they might have been, he would be sorely disappointed when these two revealed themselves. Their armor was red, signifying that they were field captains. They continued to observe, waiting to see if this man would lead them to the other, thus accomplishing to goals at once.

The man walked around dentor observing. He then turned away. you are no threat to me he said as he turned looking at the spot the two darknuts stay hidden. He walked towards it holding up his hand and concentrating. He charged what appeared to be a dark orb into his hand and then blasted towards the darknuts.

"Hmph." Den watched as the man attacked the darknuts. If only the man knew what kind of threat Dentor was. It didn't matter, time to go back to what he was doing. He began to run toward the fort's wall and jumped starting to climb it.

The man ran fast and appeared at the fort. He looked at dentor climbing and sighed as he blasted a hole in the wall. He walked in all casual like and looked around to see if any darknut was watching him.

Den looked at the man as he blasted at the hole. "Hmph" He was reckless but Den didn't care it wasn't his problem. He got on top of the fort and watch below. All the darknuts that were cheering moments before stopped and turn to man who blasted a hole. Angry there rush to attack. Dentor scanned the area found a few prisoners caged in a corner and on the other side barrels of gunpowder. (I know we don't have guns here but the powder is for canons, if we don't have those, then for fireworks, that is if it okay with you Vanyr.)
He got out his bow and pulled out one of his arrows and scrapped it against the wall, the arrow was specially made to lit up on fire. He aimed it on the barrels and waited for the right moment.
