Family: Father, Mother, two sisters and one brother.
Motive: He wants to be seen as a hero by his people.

Appearance: Vanyr appears like most Rito do; brown-light brown skin, white feathers, and a yellow beak. He wears a white tunic and a brown belt with gold buckle. His eyes are blue and his 'hair' is white.

Personality: Vanyr was raised as a warrior. His trainer taught him honor and respect, courage and valor. He never leaves a fallen ally, and will stand up for what is right. He realizes the importance of his mind as well as his training; often potentially hazardous situations can be handled without drawing a blade.
History/Bio:
Vanyr was born into a rather wealthy Rito family, although he has always felt luxuries were worthless. As a young boy he knew he wouldn't become a mail carrier, like many in his race chose to be. He desired to become a warrior and serve something greater. His father hired a suitable tutor, and he began his extensive training.
While learning the ways of a warrior, he studied both combat and morals. Vanyr was taught to value a strong mind as well as a strong body; the brain was as powerful a tool as any weapon. He was taught logic and reasoning to strengthen his decisions. All the while he was becoming more and more proficient with his blades and bow; his teacher considered him far more advanced than his age would suggest.
When Vanyr turned ten years old, he, like all Rito children, was told to travel to the top of Dragon Roost Mountain and speak to the Spirit of the Wind, Valoo. This dragon gives all Rito children their wings once they come of age. Vanyr ascended the peak and spoke to the ancient spirit, who told Vanyr that if he continued his training he would become a mighty warrior. This encouraged him, and now possessing his wings, Vanyr practiced even more.
Now that he is fourteen Vanyr wishes to serve Hyrule in any way he can. He travels about as he searches for a suitable way to do so, helping the citizens of Hyrule in small ways from time to time. He also aids an island in the rare case of a pirate attack or other such peril.

Other: He is able to use Magic to some extent; and although he knows when it is best to use it, he ultimately prefers blades.
