Link was sitting in his grandmother's house. He loved visiting her; her house was small, but very cozy. There was a fire roaring in the fireplace, and a pot of fresh Elixir Soup hanging over it. Link had just finished his second bowl, and was planning to try for a third. His Grandmother's soup was absolutely amazing, and better than any soup you could buy in even the best shops on Windfall. After his third bowl, he began to tell his grandmother about his most recent adventures. She loved hearing his brave and adventurous stories, and he loved telling them.
When he finished, his grandmother began to wash the dishes and suggested that he take look around and explore Outset since he hadn't been here in a while. He thought this was a good idea. He left the house and visited the locals, whom he had not seen in a few months. He visited the pig which was named after him, and even tried lifting it again, but it had gotten bigger and was too heavy for Link to lift. After this he crossed over the bridge and began to climb up the mountain which, seemingly ages ago, had been the start of a chain of events which lead to his quest to save Hyrule from the forces of evil.
The bridge at the top of the mountain was still destroyed, so Link was unable to explore the forest which was situated on top of Outset. He could use the Wind Waker to change the direction of the wind and glide across with his Deku Leaf, but that might cause problems for sailors out at sea, and he wouldn't do that just to have a walk in the woods. So he sat on the boulder atop the mounain of Outset Island, sitting there and enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean. It was good to be home again.
