The Legend of Zelda: The Great Sea takes place after Link defeated Ganon at the bottom of the sea in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. With Ganon at the bottom of the sea, The Great Sea is finally at peace. Link and Zelda have united the islands of The Great Sea to form form a New Hyrule. Princess Zelda, the rightful heir to Hyrule, establishes the capitol in The Tower of gods.
When the King of Hyrule made his wish far below the sea, he sealed himself and Ganon under the sea in order for Link and Zelda to escape. After he made his wish, the Triforce disappeared from The Great Sea. None know where it is. The Hylians search for it, hoping to use its powers to bring Hyrule into a golden age, restoring it to its legendary state. After the defeat of Ganon the Forsaken Fortress was abandoned, but strange things have been afoot in that area, and all ships who go near the Fortress rarely return. Rumors speak of evil once again filling the Forsaken Fortress, and that this evil seeks the Triforce for its own dark designs...
Now you must choose which side you will take; will you join Link and the Hylians, or the forces of evil? Or, would you prefer to stay neutral and simply run your business on Windfall? Maybe you prefer to explore The Great Sea, or even pillage and plunder its inhabitants! There is a place for every profession and every alliance in The Legend of Zelda: The Great Sea.
