"No, no, no! Not again!" Alyn fluttered about the dark little cavern angrily, dashing from one end to the other in the hopes that she's just missed her treasure trove, somehow, and it was still present, hidden under one of the rocks too big for her to move. But her buzzing did her little good; it was obvious that the cave, hardly large enough for an adult Hylian to crouch in, was quite empty.
But how?! The opening was so small! Alyn had purposely chosen this cave, located on the beach, because it was too small for any adult to get into! Even if they wiggled on their belly, she doubted they'd be able to get down the tiny tunnel and into her secret storehouse of treasure. She'd had five rupees gathered in here last she'd checked! FIVE! It had taken her hours to haul them down the tunnel and inside, and now that was all for naught! She fumed, wondering what nefariously tiny trickster had stolen her hard-earned loot. This warranted investigation.
She buzzed out of the tunnel to the beach, fluttering back and forth along the shore, unsure where to start. Surely the no-good thief wouldn't be fool enough to hang around here! But even as the thought occurred to her, two miniature people came hurtling over the hill and down to the water. She'd forgotten that Hylians were born a different size than they ended up. Weird creatures.
"It's just down this way!" One of them yelled, catching Alyn's interest. "I'm telling you, it was empty last week, but I checked this morning, and there was five whole rupees in our secret clubhouse!" He went on excitedly, and Alyn scowled. Returning to the scene of the crime, how typical!
Scrunching up her tiny face with determination, she decided there was only one way to deal with such devious criminal masterminds as these: punishment! She darted forward at top speed, diving for the loudmouth boy's head and delivering a swift blow to the back of his head. The impact left her dazed, and the boy turned around.
"Hey, what was that?" He asked, rubbing the back of his head. 'Aha!' Alyn thought to herself. 'Take that, you fiend!' She shook her head to make the stars vanish, as the boy shrugged. "Must've just been the wind." He turned away as Alyn's face purpled with rage. He would feel her wrath! Diving forth again, this time she seized a lock of the boy's hair, and grasping tightly, pulled with all the might her tiny body possessed. "Ow, hey!" The boy shrieked, swatting at her blindly. She dodged the blows deftly, continuing to pull on the knave's hair. They made for a comical sight, the boy flailing wildly while a puff of pink darted inches from his head, dodging his ill-conceived blows.
